What is integrative healthcare (IH)?

Integrative healthcare (IH) is a collaborative approach to healthcare delivery that is characterized by a high level of communication between patients and their various healthcare providers. It is designed to treat the patient, not the disease or condition. IH includes a wide variety of evidence-based healthcare practices working together to provide the least invasive and most effective care. The philosophy puts patients in the center and allows for choice in the type of care patients receive. CHP believes that patients get the safest and most beneficial integrated healthcare from licensed providers who have a proven record of effectiveness, safety, and quality care. CHP recognizes the vital nature of the partnership between patients and their providers and it is important to us that our network providers work collaboratively with the other providers their patients may be seeing.

The CHP Group provider network consists of four integrative healthcare (IH) disciplines: chiropractic, acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, and massage therapy.
