April 5, 2010 - Beaverton, Oregon - Pamella Marchand, President & CEO of The CHP Group, has been selected as a member of the national board for the National Association of Specialty Health Organizations (NASHO). Recommended by the board in December and ratified by the association membership in February, her three year term will last through 2013.

Julian Roberts, the Executive Director of NASHO is pleased with their newest addition. He sees The CHP Group as a successful specialty health organization with a strong local, regional, and national presence. When asked about Pam’s role on the board he stated: “I have appreciated her active involvement as a member of NASHO and I am confident she will continue to let her voice be heard as a contributor to our growth and success. The CHP Group’s participation will also provide NASHO with increased visibility in the Northwest.”

The CHP Group is the complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) authority. As CEO, Pam has been involved with the Oregon Coalition of Healthcare Purchasers, The Oregon Health Forum, and the Washington Health Policy Healthcare Committee. She views NASHO as a vibrant association of health care companies that are positioned in important niches within the delivery system. “The end goal is to collaborate and find ways to eliminate barriers to appropriate care, healthy outcomes, and financial efficiency” says Marchand.
