January 25, 2011 - Beaverton, Oregon - In response to rising health care costs and impending delivery system reform, The CHP Group (CHP) is investing in a state-of-the-art enterprise system for provider network management, utilization management, and claims administration. QNXT, a system provided by The TriZetto Group, offers the functionality necessary to meet the demands of the future for our clients and their members as well as participating providers. Because TriZetto is the largest dedicated supplier of enterprise information solutions to US health care payers, CHP will now be operating with the same technology as a large number of health plans in the Northwest. This interoperability will allow CHP to offer more flexible and innovative Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) integration options.
The CHP Network is comprised of over 1,600 CAM providers including chiropractors, acupuncturists, naturopathic physicians, and massage therapists throughout the Northwest. CHP members - through our health plan clients - and participating CAM providers will begin to experience increasing levels of ease and accessibility as this system’s capabilities are implemented throughout 2011. CHP specializes in helping health plans integrate CAM into their plan offerings and maximize the expenditures made in this important niche within the health care delivery system.
