The CHP Group Ranks Announces 2011 Patient Satisfaction Results
 
Beaverton, Oregon – March 12, 2012  
 
The CHP Group (CHP) is thrilled to announce the results of our 2011 Patient Satisfaction Survey. The CHP Patient Satisfaction Survey is an integral part of CHP’s Quality Management program. The survey uses questions from the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) 4.0 survey tool developed by the US Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, in addition to questions developed by CHP.  
 
CHP’s overall CAHPS® score for 2011 is 96%. CHP has had consistently high scores since 2000 ranging from 96% - 98%. In addition to the CAHPS® questions, the survey found that 98% of respondents replied “always” or “usually” to the question “Has the treatment or recommendation you received from this provider helped you?” When asked “Has the treatment or recommendation you have received reduced your use of prescription drugs?” 82% answered “usually” or “always”. To the question “Has the treatment or recommendation you received reduced your use of other medical care for this problem?” 92% of respondents answered “usually” or “always”.
