Just a few walnuts a day may improve blood vessel function, LDL cholesterol

In a study headed by David Katz of Yale University Prevention Research Center and reported on in the BMJ Open Diabetes Research and Care Journal, subjects ranging in age from 25-75 had both improved vascular function and increased ‘healthy fats’ in the blood (increased LDLs) after eating approximately 14 walnuts per day for six months.
