ICD-10 Workshops

ICD-10 implementation is right around the corner.Are you ready? If not, CHP can help you and your staff get there. We are planning four workshops focused on preparing your practice for the transition to the new diagnostic code set. These hour-long sessions will give you the tools necessary to create an ICD-10-CM code set that will be relevant to your practice and discipline. In order to give everyone the most practical information, attendance at each of these hands-on workshops is limited to 16 participants.

HIPAA Compliance: The Basics

New staff? Unfamiliar with the September 2013 HIPAA Regulation changes? This workshop is for you! CHP is offering two workshops this year on HIPAA Compliance: The Basics to CHP providers and any of your office staff. This hour-long session will focus on the core privacy and security requirements and provide an overview of the September 2013 regulation changes. In order to give everyone the most practical information, attendance at each of these hands-on workshops is limited to 16 participants.

  • Industry topics including HIPAA and regulatory updates

CHP Provider CE - Patient Care is a Team Sport: Collaboration for Better Outcomes

The content of this interactive, seminar-style program is focused on how to create the conditions for health professionals to work together in the most effective and efficient way to produce the best health outcomes for individuals and their families. The general sessions will present the cultural, educational and legal considerations in securing an environment for effective collaboration between providers and provide an overview of the science of successful patient engagement. The breakout sessions are organized around three tracks: Patient engagement and wellness, CAM/conventional medicine collaboration, and collaboration within the CAM field through grand rounds presentations.

Location: Oregon Convention Center, Portland, OR

Time: Doors open at 7:30 am; First General Session starts at 8:30 am; Last General Session concludes at 4:15 pm
